Black Bear watching in Tofino can be done during low tide when the Bears are searching the shoreline of Meares Island for Clams and Crabs. Your Tour will take you to the calm inlets of Clayoquot Sound.
Bear Watching Tours are only offered in Summer time, as in Winter the Black Bears go into hibernation after they feast on the Salmon run in October. Daily departure times of Bear Tours vary according to the tide schedule and you'll also have a chance to see seals, river otters, blue herons, eagles and other species of wildlife.
